World Championship 2024 | Updated Entry Pack
Following the opening of entries for the 2024 World Women’s Snooker Championship, an updated entry pack has today been issued which incorporates key changes and additional information for the event.
Organised by World Women’s Snooker (WWS), the Chinese Billiards and Snooker Association (CBSA) and Cantonese Snooker (Changping), the event will run from 11-17 March 2024 with the winner set to earn a coveted two-year World Snooker Tour card from the start of the 2024/25 season.
Entry Pack Changes
The following changes have been made following the initial opening of entries last month:
- Venue Change – The tournament venue has now changed to the Changping Gymnasium [full address in entry pack], with the originally announced venue the Dongguan Academy to be used for practice.
- Entry Deadline Extended – The closing date for entries is now 12pm GMT Friday 1 March 2024 (extended by one week).
- Official Hotel – There is now an official hotel (Hotel Huihua International, 45 Changping Avenue) at which all players must stay. This is a requirement of the local government as this is in international event. View room rates and booking instructions within the full entry pack.
- Opening Ceremony – The opening ceremony may take place on the 11 March (not 10 March as previously announced). Final date TBC.
