Tournament information for the 2024 Women’s Masters is now available:

The World Women’s Snooker (WWS) Tour continues from this Friday with the fourth ranking tournament of the season as the Women’s Snooker Masters returns to Frames Sports Bar, Coulsdon, London from 22-24 November.

Following a memorable victory for England’s Mary Talbot a year ago, the tournament will see a strong field of 39 players from 11 different countries return to England’s capital to contest the final ranking event tournament of the season.

Seven of the world’s top 10 will be in action, including former champions Reanne Evans, Mink Nutcharut and Ng On Yee, while the likes of Amee Kamani, Anupama Ramachandran and Narantuya Bayarsaikhan will be among the international players travelling to compete.

As in previous years, there will also be Under-21 and Seniors events staged during the weekend, as well as a Challenge Cup competition staged on the final day for players out of the competition by that stage.

Format

The format will be as follows:

  • The top three seeded players have been seeded through to the last 16 stage on Saturday 23 November at approximately 5:30pm
  • The remaining players have been drawn in nine groups of a maximum of seven players
  • The top two players from each group will progress to the knockout stage:
    • Eight group winners will progress straight to the last 16
    • The ninth placed group winner and nine group runners-up (1o players) will play a preliminary round match on Saturday afternoon for the final five places
  • All qualifiers from the group stages will be positioned in the knockout draw according to group stage performance in line with our established qualifying criteria

Group matches will be played over the best of three frames, knockout rounds to be 5/5/5/7/7. If necessary the preliminary round matches may be shortened to 3 frames
