Entry for the first event of the 2024/25 World Women’s Snooker (WWS) Tour is now open as the WineCellars.com US Women’s Snooker Open returns to Seattle from 9-11 August 2024.
The third staging of the event will once again be held at the unique Ox Billiards venue, following victory for world number one Mink Nutcharut a year ago in Washington.
The event continues to be made possible by Mike Dominguez and his fantastic team at Ox Billiards, alongside WineCellars.com who will continue as title sponsors following their successful backing of the event last season.
Last year saw three of the world’s top four ranked players compete, with both Mink Nutcharut and Ng On Yee making history as they each compiled a century break on US soil. As with all WWS Tour ranking events, the US Open will be open to players from around the globe, with those from the Americas region set to once again be joined by international players from around the world.
In addition to the main world ranking event, there will also be a Seniors competition for players over 40, as well as a Challenge Cup competition for players who do not reach the knockout rounds of the main event. An Under-21 tournament may be held subject to sufficient interest being received (minimum four players).
The closing date for entries is 12:00pm BST on Friday 2 August 2024.
How to Enter
All entries must be received through WPBSA SnookerScores by completing the following steps:
- Register an account / Log In to WPBSA SnookerScores
- Select an event from the WWS organisation page or from the ‘My Player’ section of your account and follow the on-screen instructions.
- Pay your entry fee from your ‘My Payments’ tab.
Your entry will only be formally accepted upon receipt of your online entry AND payment of your entry fee by the event entry deadline.
The closing date for entry/payment of entry fees is 12:00pm BST, Friday 2 August 2024.
