Bio

Yee Ting Cheung entered her first WWS event at the 2018 Festival of Women’s Snooker, reaching the last 16 of the 6-Red World Women’s Championship in Leeds before losing to eventual champion Reanne Evans.

Her strongest performance to date came later that year at the Australian Women’s Open where she defeated Kathy Howden to reach her first quarter-final, before losing out to Evans again.

She repeated the feat six years later at the 2024 British Open, notably defeating compatriot Ho Yee Ki to reach the last eight where she would lead world number one Mink Nutcharut 2-0, before the Thai player won three in a row to deny Yee Ting a first semi-final appearance.

Her first WWS title came at the 2018 10-Red World Championship (Challenge Cup) with victory against England’s Emma Parker.
