Tournament information for the 2025 Landywood British Women’s Open in Landywood, England is now available.
The World Women’s Snooker (WWS) Tour will return to the Landywood Snooker Club for the third time with the staging of the British Women’s Open from this Friday. The penultimate world ranking event of the 2024/25 season represents the 29th staging of the British Open since its inaugural staging 1983.
Ng On Yee will be the defending champion following her success at the venue last season, with previous winners Bai Yulu, Mink Nutcharut and record six-time champion Reanne Evans also among the field.
Alongside the main competition, Under-21 and Seniors side tournaments will be held, alongside a Challenge Cup competition for players already knocked out of the main competition prior to the quarter-finals.
Live streaming from the Main tournament will be available from the semi-final stage on Sunday 30 March.
The format will be as follows:
Group matches will be played over the best of three frames, knockout rounds to be 5/5/5/7/7.
The Challenge Cup tournament will be played in accordance with the 6-Red rules.
