The fifth World Women’s Snooker (WWS) ranking tournament of the season, the Eden Masters takes place for a third consecutive season at Frames Sports Bar, London. Supported by owner Tony Thompson and his fantastic team, the venue has now established itself as a regular and popular venue on the circuit in the south of England.
The 2022 staging of the event is set to be the biggest yet, with a record 49 entries – up 10 since the 2021 edition – representing the largest ever recorded field at a WWS ranking event outside of a World Championship.
All of the current top 12 ranked players will be present, as well as three players who will be making their WWS debuts. There will be a total of 15 nationalities represented from around the world.
There will also be side-tournaments held for Under-21 and Seniors players, with a combined 20 entries received across both tournaments.
This weekend’s format will be as follows:
Group matches will be played over the best of three frames, knockout rounds to be 5/5/5/7/7. If necessary the preliminary round matches may be shortened to 3 frames.
The format for all side-tournaments will be straight knockout.
