Draw Made for BetVictor Shoot Out
The draw for next month’s BetVictor Shoot Out has today been released by World Snooker Tour.
The professional ranking event will be held at the Morningside Arena in Leicester from 20-23 January with several of the world’s leading players set to contest the title won last season by Ryan Day.
For the first time, the event will feature three female players, with WPBSA nomination Rebecca Kenna joining professional duo Reanne Evans and Ng On Yee in the draw.
Three-time world women’s champion Ng will make her Shoot Out debut against Pakistan’s Farakh Ajaib in what will be the penultimate match of the tournament’s opening session on the Thursday.
She will be followed later in the day by world women’s number one Reanne Evans, who will take on Fan Zhengyi of China as she chases her first win in the competition having last season lost out to John Astley.
Finally, Kenna will make her second appearance at the Shoot Out against four-time ranking event quarter-finalist Tian Pengfei during the fourth match of the Friday afternoon session in Leicester.
For the winners, the last 64 will take place on Saturday 22 January, with the tournament played to its conclusion the following day.
