Tournament information for the 2025 Belgian Women’s Open in Bruges, Belgium is now available.

The World Women’s Snooker (WWS) Tour heads to The Trickshot for the fifth time since its first visit to the club in 2019 and marks the second ranking tournament of 2025 following Mink Nutcharut’s recent victory at the WSF Women’s Open last month.

Alongside the main competition, Under-21 and Seniors side tournaments will be held, alongside a Challenge Cup competition for players already knocked out of the main competition prior to the quarter-finals.

Format

The format will be as follows:

  • The top five seeded players have been seeded through to the last 16 stage on Saturday 8 February at approximately 5:30pm
  • The remaining players have been drawn in eight groups of a maximum of four players
  • The top two players from each group will progress to the knockout stage:
    • Six group winners will progress straight to the last 16
    • The remaining two group winners and eight group runners-up (1o players) will play a preliminary round match on Saturday afternoon for the final five places
  • All qualifiers from the group stages will be positioned in the knockout draw according to group stage performance in line with our established qualifying criteria

Group matches will be played over the best of three frames, knockout rounds to be 5/5/5/7/7.

The Challenge Cup tournament will be played in accordance with the 6-Red rules.
