The Belgian Women’s Open is now open for entry as the world’s top players are set to return to the historic city of Bruges from 19-21 January 2024!
Won by Mink Nutcharut last season as the event returned to the calendar for the first time in three years, the Belgian Women’s Open will be staged at The Trickshot Club for the fourth time early in 2024.
Bruges is set to welcome leading players including former Belgian Open champions Reanne Evans and Ng On Yee, as well as reigning world champion Baipat Siripaporn and 2023 runner-up, home favourite Wendy Jans.
As in previous years, the three-day event will once again include a main competition, alongside side-tournaments for Under-21 and Seniors players (subject to entries). There will also be a Challenge Cup tournament held for players who do not qualify for the knockout stages of the main event, ensuring competition for all players throughout the weekend.
World Women’s Snooker would like to thank club owner Olivier Vandenbohede for hosting the event and his continued support of women’s snooker.
The closing date for entries and payment of entry fees is 12:00pm GMT on Friday 12 January 2024.
We are pleased to be able to offer a discounted rate of €80 per night on hotel rooms at the Hotel Velotel during the tournament and would like to thank Benoit and his team at the Velotel for their continued support.
The discount is only available on bookings made directly through their website using the block code WOMENSSNOOKER2024 and full details can be found within the event entry pack.
Once again, a shuttle service will also be provided between the Velotel and the venue during the event by club owner Olivier Vandenbohede and his team.
As in 2023, there are now also guest rooms available at the club itself for players who wish to stay as close to the venue as possible!
For more information and to express interest, please contact club owner Olivier Vandenbohede directly by email.
There will also be a shuttle service provided to/from selected local airports. Please view the entry pack for full details, including a link to a Google form to make your booking.
Please be aware that should you cancel your shuttle booking within 48 hours of your scheduled arrival, you will still be liable for the shuttle fee. Bookings must be received prior to the event entry deadline.
Please be aware that this will be scheduled as a three-day event and in particular we aim to complete as much of the Seniors and Under-21 competitions as possible on the Friday. Where possible we will consider individual requests received through our website to schedule group stage matches e.g. late Friday, or Saturday only for players unable to play on Friday.
Please note however that we may not be able to accommodate all scheduling requests and we will not be able to confirm the final format until final entries are known.
