Entry is now open for the Belgian Women’s Open as the World Women’s Snooker Tour returns to Bruges for the first time three years next January!
Previously won by Reanne Evans and most recently Ng On Yee in 2020, the Belgian Women’s Open will once again be staged at The Trickshot Club and is set to run from 20-22 January 2023.
The tournament will be the first ranking event to be held in mainland Europe since the global pandemic and will once again include a main competition, alongside side-tournaments for Under-21 and Seniors players, last won by Emma Parker and Caty Dehaene.
There will also be a Challenge Cup tournament held for players who do not qualify for the knockout stages of the main event, ensuring competition for all players throughout the weekend.
The closing date for entries and payment of entry fees is 4:30pm GMT on Friday 13 January 2023.
As in previous years, we are pleased to be able to offer a discounted rate of €75 per night on hotel rooms at the Hotel Velotel during the tournament and would like to thank Benoit and his team at the Velotel for their continued support.
The discount is only available on bookings made directly through their website using the block code WOMENSSNOOKER2023 and full details can be found within the event entry pack.
Once again, a shuttle service will also be provided between the Velotel and the venue during the event by club owner Olivier Vandenbohede and his team.
New for 2023 there are now four guest rooms available at the club itself for players who wish to stay as close to the venue as possible!
For more information and to express interest, please contact club owner Olivier Vandenbohede directly by email.
There will also be a shuttle service provided to/from selected local airports. Please view the entry pack for full details, including a link to a Google form to make your booking.
Please be aware that should you cancel your shuttle booking within 24 hours of your scheduled arrival, you will still be liable for the shuttle fee.
Please be aware that this will be scheduled as a three-day event. Where possible we will consider individual requests received through our website to schedule group stage matches e.g. late Friday, or Saturday only for players unable to play on Friday.
Please note however that we may not be able to accommodate all scheduling requests and we will not be able to confirm the final format until final entries are known.
