Bai Among Shanghai Wildcards

The CBSA wildcards for the upcoming Shanghai Masters are now confirmed, with 20-year-old sensation Bai Yulu among those to earn a place at the showpiece invitational event.

The wildcards were determined by performances at the recent CBSA U21 Event held in Dongguan, Guangdong Province. World Women’s Championship runner-up Bai was one of four players to come through.

CBSA U21 Qualifiers:

• Deng Haohui
• Dong Zihao
• Bai Yulu
• Gong Chenzhi

The players will now be drawn in the wildcard slots and will respectively face either Ali Carter, Robert Milkins, John Higgins or Hossein Vafaei. The draw will take place at the opening ceremony prior to the event getting underway.
