Albanian Women’s Open 2024 | Enter Now!
The Albanian Women’s Open is now open for entry with the all-new event set to be held from 29 January – 2 February 2024!
To be held alongside the World Snooker Federation Junior Championship, the ranking event will be held at the Grand Blue Fafa Resort in Golem, Albania and will represent the first ever World Women’s Snooker Tour competition in Southeastern Europe.
The prestigious event will be held over five days and will include side-tournaments for Under-21 and Seniors players, as well as a Challenge Cup for players who do not qualify for the knockout stages of the main event.
A high-quality field is expected, with the tournament set to represent the final chance to secure important ranking points ahead of this season’s World Women’s Snooker Championship.
Players competing in the event are also encouraged to enter the mixed gender WSF Championships which will take place immediately following the WWS event from 3-11 February 2024. Eligible players may also compete in both the WWS Albanian Open and WSF Junior Championship in parallel.
The closing date for entries and payment of entry fees is 12:00pm GMT on Friday 19 January 2024.
Hotel / Airport Transfers
For this event ALL players must stay at the Grand Blue Fafa Resort during the event. Anyone booked at a different hotel will NOT be allowed to play.
Room Prices per night (WSF rate) including Full-Board Accommodation:
- Single room: €94
- Twin or Double room: €128 (€64/person)
- Triple room: €192 (€64/person)
All prices include full-board accommodation (breakfast, lunch & dinner) and all drinks when sitting at the restaurant. Drinks at the bar are not included in the offer of full-board.
Accommodation for the full duration of stay must be paid in Euro currency at the hotel reception upon arrival (Credit, debit card or cash accepted).
Please note: players may also book the hotel directly or via another website, provided they provide us with proof of their booking.
Airport Transfers
Participants will be met at Tirana International Airport by Albania Snooker Federation representatives upon arrival subject to your arrival information being correctly completed within your Travel details within WPBSA SnookerScores.
The return transfer costs (Airport/Fafa Resort/Airport) are €20 per person to be paid upon arrival to the Albanian Snooker Federation.
