Ng On Yee feels she has improved as a player since her first spell on the World Snooker Tour as she looks ahead to her return to the circuit next season.
The three-time World Women’s champion from Hong Kong will return to the tour from the start of the 2025/26 season.
Speaking at last week’s World Grand Prix, where she played an exhibition match with Mink Nutcharut, Ng said: “When I was first on the tour four years ago everything was new to me, like how to book practice tables and the dress codes for different events. Plus it was during Covid. By the time I got used to everything it was the end of my two years.
“I really wanted to get back because I felt like I learned a lot and improved a lot during those two years. I am a better player now. I learned a lot from other top players, like shot selection and break building. You don’t get many chances on the main tour so you have to score more when you get those chances.”
