World number one Mink Nutcharut will face reigning world champion Bai Yulu in the final of the 2025 WSF Women’s Championship on Thursday after the pair came through their respective semi-finals with 4-1 victories.

From a field of 16 players at the historic first ever WWS Tour ranking event in Africa, including four of the world’s top ranked stars and players from eight individual countries in total, both Mink and Bai are the last women standing in Saïdia.

Thailand’s Mink will contest her third consecutive final on the WWS Tour as she looks to win what would be a ninth career title so far. The 25-year-old has impressed throughout the week so far, scoring a tournament high break of 80 during the round robin stages and adding victories again China’s Yang Meng and fourth seed Rebecca Kenna to reach the title match.

Victory for Mink would see her move into the top 10 most successful players of all-time on the WWS Tour and join an exclusive group of just 10 players to have won nine or more ranking titles.

Standing in her way will be China’s Bai Yulu in what is set to be a repeat of last season’s World Championship final. The 21-year-old successfully qualified from the group stages before adding victories against Narucha Phoemphul and three-time world champion Ng On Yee in the semi-finals.

Bai notably potted ten reds and nine blacks during a maximum 147 attempt during her quarter-final success against Phoemphul, and will be appearing in her sixth world ranking event final from just eight contested so far, aiming to win her fourth in total.

Regardless of the result in the final, Bai is now guaranteed to climb to a new career-high ranking position of number three following the tournament, overtaking England’s Reanne Evans who is not competing in the event.

Live streaming of the final will be available from 10:00am local time via the World Snooker Federation Facebook page and WPBSA YouTube channel.
