The draw for the qualifying rounds of the 2021 Betfred World Championship qualifiers has been released with leading women’s stars Reanne Evans and Rebecca Kenna among the field.
Our world number one Reanne Evans will begin her latest Sheffield campaign against former Crucible semi-finalist Andy Hicks, a repeat of her first round match at the even last year which was won 6-3 by Hicks.
Rebecca Kenna will face Brandon Sargeant, winner of the English Amateur Championship in 2019 as she makes her debut at snooker’s most prestigious professional competition.
Both players will play their opening round matches on Monday 5 April 2021, with Evans taking on Hicks in the 9:30am morning session, while Kenna faces Sargeant from 7:30pm.
UPDATE: Rebecca Kenna’s match has since been rescheduled to 7:30pm on Tuesday 6 April.
